Leverhulme Trade Charities Trust Bursary

About the project

If your parent or partner is a commercial traveller, chemist or grocer, this bursary - provided by the Leverhulme Trade Charities Trust - could help support your studies at City St George's.

These bursaries are open to students on first degree courses who are resident in the UK and who are a commercial traveller, chemist or grocer OR the son, daughter, spouse, widow, or widower of a commercial traveller, chemist or grocer. The bursaries are intended to assist students in financial need.

The most that you can apply for is £3,000 a year. However, the amount that you receive depends on your financial need and the total amount of funding we have available to distribute in each year.

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply, you need to be:

• A resident of the United Kingdom
• Studying for a full-time undergraduate degree at a recognised UK university
• You need to be in the grocer, pharmacist or commercial traveller sector for the last five years OR the child, spouse, widow or widower of a grocer, pharmacist or commercial traveller and
• In ‘financial need’.
