Scholarships

A scholarship can encourage and reward those striving for excellence.

We advertise a large number of scholarships and bursaries each year, many of which are exclusive to current Harper Adams students.

The benefits of scholarships for students can include:

• Increased confidence
• An enhanced CV
• The chance to learn and earn in the real world
• Exploring the field they want to work in
• Developing vocational skills and preparing for graduate employment

Scholarships exclusive to Harper Adams

The university's Development Trust is a charity that works with industry and alumni to offer exclusive scholarships to current Harper Adams students.

Around £500,000 of scholarships are offered each year; most include financial help, some also offer paid placement opportunities .

External scholarships

These scholarships are managed by external organisations and not by the university.

These awards are open to candidates from other universities as well as Harper Adams. Applications to each of these scholarships should be made directly to the awarding body. Please note that each scholarship provider will have its own application processes and closing dates.
