Home Fees

Each year, UKRI usually increases its PGR fee rates in line with inflation based on the Treasury GDP deflator. Minimum fees recommended by UKRI are adopted at the University of Chester for Home-level tuition fees for most postgraduate research programmes.

Fee rates for 2027/28 have not yet been confirmed by UKRI; therefore, please refer to the 2026/27 rates as a guide. PGR fees are reviewed annually and may increase in line with the Treasury GDP deflator. As more information becomes available, this page will be updated.
