[School of Natural Sciences PhD Scholarships] Destruction of organic pollutants using novel electrochemical oxidation technology; Evaluating impact of metals on the removal efficiency.
The University of Manchester
About the Project Increased discharge of potentially toxic, hard-to-remove organic pollutants (pesticides, antibiotics etc) is causing major environmental/economic damage worldwide. Since these pollutants cannot easily be removed using conventional techniques it represents a real challenge for the (waste)water industry.
