Subject specific scholarships and studentships
We offer university research scholarships and funded studentships, available in your research/subject area of interest.
University research scholarships
These scholarships are assessed based on academic success, your qualifications and experience, background and potential impact of the research and a good match with our expertise. Our Schools offer a range of research scholarships in the form of fee-waivers ranging from 25% and 100%.
Funded studentships
We also offer studentships to researchers in certain disciplines. Studentships are similar to scholarships in that they provide tuition fee discounts and funding support to postgraduate researchers. The main difference is that studentships usually requires you to work for the University in a research or teaching capacity (with some exceptions) or are typically attached to a specific funded research project.
