About the project

The Oxford Brookes Research Degrees Team is excited to offer fully funded placement opportunities for our Research Degrees Students.

By taking part, you will:

You will have the opportunity to develop skills such as:

• gain direct experience within industry and/or other organisations (which may be outside your discipline)
• develop new and existing transferable skills - great for your CV
• expand your network and professional horizons - great for interviews.
• interpersonal skills and working as part of a team
• liaising with staff in different roles, including senior staff
• organisational skills including project and event management, making effective use of resources and working to specific deadlines
• engaging with different audiences and interacting with external stakeholders
• data management and analysis
• IT skills (for example, webpage development)
• and many more.

All our opportunities are fully funded. Full guidance is available and eligibility criteria apply.

As part of the application process, you are expected to discuss your suitability for a placement with your Director of Studies and the Research Degrees Team in the first instance.
