Submit your offer conditions

If you have received a conditional offer, it will include the conditions you need to meet before we can confirm your place.

This may include providing evidence of your academic qualifications and proficiency in English language .

You will need to satisfy all the conditions listed in your offer before you can register at Imperial.

  • Submit your offer conditions
  • Request a deferral

Send evidence of your academic qualifications

As part of your offer conditions, we may ask you to provide evidence of your academic qualifications, such as your degree transcript. We work with Qualification Check to verify your academic qualifications. Imperial's Qualification Check is accessible via the link included in your offer conditions. It is very important that you click on the specific Imperial link on the offer conditions, rather than accessing the platform separately, to avoid any delay in our receipt of your verified documents.

You can find further instructions about how to send evidence of your academic qualifications in your offer letter and in your My Imperial account.

Evidence of your English language test results

If you take one of the following tests to meet your English language offer condition, we need to verify your test results online.

When you submit your test results, you must send the following details for your test to the Admissions team for your course:

Other English language qualifications If you have completed any other accepted English language qualifications, email the results to your Admissions team.

  • IELTS
  • IELTS Indicator
  • TOEFL
  • Pearson
  • Cambridge Advanced/Proficiency
  • Duolingo English
  • IELTS: your Test Report Form Number or a scanned copy of your certificate.
  • IELTS Indicator: your IELTS Indicator Score Check ID (a 15-character ID).
  • TOEFL: your 16-digit registration number or a scanned copy of your certificate.
  • Pearson: send your scores to Imperial directly from your PearsonPTE account and email your Admissions team to confirm that you have referred your results.
  • Cambridge Advanced and Proficiency Tests: your result certificate.
  • Duolingo English tests: refer your results to Imperial from your Duolingo portal and email your Admissions team with your linked results.

Proof of ATAS clearance

Certain courses at Imperial require students to obtain clearance from the UK government’s Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS) as part of the entry requirements.

If this applies to you, it will be included in your offer conditions. You will need to request an ATAS certificate before you apply for your student visa.

An ATAS certificate is valid for 6 months from the date it is issued, to give you time to apply for your visa.

Once your clearance is obtained, ATAS will send a copy of your certificate directly to Imperial.

You can find further guidance and how to apply for your certificate on the ATAS pages on the UK government website.
