Our Faculties and Schools also host subject-specific opportunities such as research seminars to help your development.

Research group seminars are a great way to share work, receive feedback and practise your presentation skills in a friendly environment.

Doctoral community

As a PGR, there are a number of University networks you can join to help feel part of the Southampton community.

Whether you're looking to build connections, find support or celebrate shared identities, our staff and student networks help foster a welcoming, inclusive and supportive community for everyone.
