High Performance Athlete (HPA) Offers

Athletes identified by the Performance Sport Team will be flagged as a HPA. This system is in place to support those competing at the highest level alongside their respective studies and provides a contextual offer for individuals to receive a grade reduction.

Successful applicants may receive up to a two grade reduction from the standard offer. This will be communicated in your UCAS offer if applicable.

Please note: this information is specific to Sport/HPA. Those students eligible for WP/Partners may have offers which supersede HPA.

Sports funding

If you reach representative honours during the current academic year and need support fill in the form. If you’ve been selected for higher representative honours, wait until you know your competition dates before applying.

Applications for sports funding are open all year round.

North American Athlete Scholarships

If you’re a North American (NA) athlete applying to study at Master’s level, you could go for our NA Athlete Scholarship. Successful applicants will receive a fee reduction. You also get access to all the support services listed in the table above.
