About
The SOAS Doctoral School aims to provide our postgraduate research students with the best PhD experience possible.
We support doctoral researchers at every step of their PhD journey, providing guidance, information, and help when things are not going as planned. We provide excellent research infrastructure and facilities, in terms of space for writing, co-working, and socialising and through our four PGR grant schemes.
And we foster PGR research culture through our online and in-person programmes of training, skills development, collaboration, and discussion.
"Here at the Doctoral School we aim to cultivate a strong and well-supported research community, and to develop effective, well-run, and responsive training programmes and support structures."
