About the project

The Researcher Development Programme offers optional training sessions enabling you to learn from, and meet with, a wider network of academics and fellow Doctoral Researchers, while subject-specific courses will be provided by your School.

Doctoral Researcher Development Programme (DRDP)

The Doctoral Researcher Development Programme (DRDP) is a series of workshops and events that are run throughout the academic year. All of the workshops are mapped against Vitae’s Researcher Development Framework . At City St George's, we are committed to your professional development as a Researcher, and the DRDP is designed to enhance your skillset alongside your research. We are constantly collaborating with internal and external Training Providers and Researchers and the programme is updated several times throughout the term, so do watch out for emails and updates on Research Manager. We are also very receptive to feedback and suggestions for training, so if you if you do have any feedback or suggestions, please contact our Doctoral Researcher Training and Development Coordinator via Doctoral College .

DRDP sessions are bookable on Research Manager .

What can I expect from the Researcher Development Programme (DRDP) this year?

The sessions for the 2025/26 academic year will be delivered as a combination of online and in-person sessions, and are delivered by both external providers and academic staff within City St George's, as well as colleagues within Professional Services Teams i.e. Learning Enhancement and Development (LEaD) and research support via Library Services .
