Postgraduate scholarships for applicants from East Asia

About the project

A list of scholarships for applicants that will have an International fee status and be domiciled in China, Hong Kong - SAR of China, Japan, Macau - SAR of China, Mongolia, North Korea, South Korea, or Taiwan

All scholarships are awarded as partial fee reductions to support students with tuition costs.

2026/27 scholarships

If you:

You may be eligible for one or more of the following scholarships or bursaries, depending on whether you meet the specific criteria for each award:

£4,000 per year of study, or

Important: Each scholarship has its own eligibility requirements. Meeting the general conditions does not guarantee you will receive all listed awards.

Please refer to our scholarship webpages for full details, including whether a separate application is required.

• are classified as having an International fee status ,
• hold an offer to study on one of our eligible postgraduate courses, and
• are domiciled in an Eastern Asian country,
• £3,000 – in the first year only, for University of Dundee Alumni and immediate family members of Alumni
• £8,000 per year – If you hold a First-Class degree (or equivalent)
