About the project
There are currently a few funding schemes available in the School.
NHS Education for Scotland Scholarships
As part of a strategy to increase psychological education and skills development across disciplines in Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), NHS Education for Scotland (NES) provides funding for CAMHS practitioners working in NHS Scotland.
College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences Research Awards
The College Research Student Awards scheme is designed to attract high quality students applying for PhD research. As a student with us you will work with some of the most influential academics in your chosen field and learn about the very latest developments in your subject. Those chosen exemplify the high standards the University of Edinburgh sets for its research students and the investment that we make in their potential.
GREAT Scholarships 2026
In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, The University of Edinburgh is offering 3 scholarships to students in Thailand, Mexico and Ghana, applying for one-year postgraduate courses.
The Burdett Fellows Studentship
The Burdett Trust for Nursing was established in 2002 with the aim of making charitable grants to support the nursing contribution to healthcare. The scholarships have a particular focus on developing research capacity and leadership within the nursing profession. It is hoped that these scholarships will form the research capacity building required for a future nursing research career for those successful in securing a scholarship, who will be known as The Burdett Fellows OR Nursing Studies Burdett Fellows.
