About the project
Postdoctoral researchers make a vital contribution to the research community at Queen's. Alongside advancing world-leading research, they contribute to teaching, supervision, public engagement, innovation, and the wider life of the University.
The Postdoctoral Development Centre is committed to recognising and celebrating these contributions. Through initiatives such as the PDC Postdoc Awards and National Postdoc Appreciation Week , we aim to highlight the impact of postdoctoral researchers and foster a culture in which their achievements are recognised and valued.
Whether you're looking to celebrate a colleague, nominate a postdoctoral researcher for an award, or explore ways to recognise members of your research team, you'll find the relevant information and resources here.
We celebrate postdoctoral researchers at Queen's with a programme of events during National Postdoc Appreciation Week (NPAW).
The PDC Postdoc Awards recognise excellence across three categories; Research, Citizenship & Outreach and Support.
