About the project
Studentships are a funded opportunity which link to a specific research project.
Most studentship funding is for PhD places. It is only available to students working in a specified field or on that specific funded project.
Schemes vary and may provide either full cover or partial funding for tuition fees. Some studentships may also include a maintenance grant. A list of schemes currently open will get advertised below throughout the year. They may also be advertised in the national press or on job websites . Appointments are then made following shortlisting and interviews.
Please check individual awards for eligibility.
All applicants can now request reasonable adjustments at the earliest opportunity including pre-admission. The Equality Advisory Support Service (EASS) assists individuals on issues relating to equality in England, Scotland, and Wales.
