About the Project Global supply chains are increasingly exposed to geopolitical fragmentation, trade disputes, tariffs, resource constraints, and regional instability. This DBA research opportunity focuses on the design of practical frameworks that help organizations move from efficiency-only supply chain models toward resilience-by-design. Possible research directions include geopolitical risk monitoring, sovereign sourcing, supplier diversification, strategic stock planning, scenario-based logistics, and decision tools that bring geopolitical analysis into executive strategy discussions. This opportunity is particularly suited to experienced professionals in manufacturing, aerospace, high-tech electronics, logistics, procurement, operations, consulting, or global trade. Candidates may design a strategic supply chain resilience model, a geopolitical risk dashboard, or a decision-making toolkit for executive teams. The expected contribution is a practical artefact that helps organizations respond more effectively to geopolitical shocks while maintaining strategic continuity and operational performance. Tuition and scholarships This is a self-funded doctoral research opportunity. The total tuition fee for the Franklin Hudson DBA program is €62,600 . Partial merit-based scholarships may be awarded to strong candidates, up to 30% maximum of tuition. Payment plans are available.
