About the Project A Ph.D. position in the field of “All-Gel Energy Storage Devices” (Department of Mechanical Engineering in Chonnam National University in Republic of Korea) - We are looking for a prospective Ph.D. student who has interests in development of “all-gel energy storage devices” using soft gel materials. A student who has logical English writing ability and combined experiences (knowledge) in ① Gel electrolyte/Gel electrode ② Polymer Science ③ Electrical Engineering ④ Mechanical Engineering is welcomed. Until this time, we published papers with similar topics in Advanced Materials , Advanced Science , Materials Horizons , Chemical Engineering Journal , Water Research , ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces , Progress in Materials Science , Advanced Functional Materials , NPG Asia Materials (Please see, https://scholar.google.co.kr/citations?hl=ko&user=Hup8d38AAAAJ&viewop=listworks&sortby=pubdate ). - For the application, English score more than TOEFL (CBT) 207, TOEFL (iBT) 76 points, TOEIC 750, TEPS 600, or IELTS 6.5 is necessary. - The first-year scholarship is 1,800,000 KRW/month (it will be increased depending on working periods) - The semester will start from March 01, 2027. - The application deadline: October 20, 2026.
