About the Project Project Summary PhD projects will focus on developing AI/ML computational frameworks for advancing bioproduction, with topics ranging from: Knowledge abstraction -- Digital twin technologies, model reduction, and knowledge transfer. Knowledge exploitation -- Methods for multilevel optimization and control, including soft sensors. Knowledge facilitation -- Software development for bioprocess digitalization and automation. Ideal Candidate Applicants should hold an MSc in chemical engineering, bioprocess engineering, artificial intelligence, machine learning, systems engineering, or a related discipline. Experience with Python and machine learning frameworks is expected. Benefits Successful candidates will join a four-year structured PhD programme at the School of Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering, University College Dublin (UCD).
